He was like a walking historybook, he knew so many details about the area, the monasteries and the history. He also had such a great sense of humour. What an excellent guide he is! We visited Anapafsas monastery and after that an amazing church. Made many stops to take photos and ended our tour to the Sunset rock with a lovely sunset before heading back to Kalambaka. We had a private tour of one of the monasteries which was very interesting and then had a time for a great lunch with a wonderful view without any tourists before taking our train back to Athenes the same day.

That was probably on of the best experiences overall we had from a guided tour that lasted a bit over 5 hours. Thank you Charis, Sakis and Meteora Thrones!

We did the sunset tour and morning tour. All staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and stopped at some good places for pictures. They seemed to take pride in where they lived... read more as well, which I think made them such great guides. I did get inured on one of my tours and they did not have a first aid kit, so my only recommendation is they have a fully stocked one since there is the possibility of getting injured (very slim and I am sometimes a klutz, but you are touring older areas with steep inclines and declines, etc, which means it could happen). They did offer to stop by the pharmacy but that would have cut into everyone's tour time. I highly recommend them and would do it again.

We booked the 2 day tour which included a RT train ride from Athens to Kalabaka, 1 night accommodations, a sunset tour and a morning tour. We went early... read more September when Kalabaka and surrounding areas experienced torrential rain and flooding.

Clement was our tour guide who was excellent and you can tell he loves his job and passionate about sharing his knowledge. I give him 5 stars.

Day 2, because of the storm, the monasteries closed, train tracks and roads closed. The tour company tried to get us back to Athens by bus but because the roads closed, the tour company sent a van to the bus station to pick us up, made arrangements for 1 nt accommodations at their expense. James, the tour company owner, met us at the hotel and made sure we got checked in. Throughout this ordeal, the tour company stayed in close contact with us. We managed to find a different way to return to Athens but this tour company went above and beyond. They cared about us, our well-being and safety and I am very impressed at how they handled the situation.

With a seven-headed group of friends from Belgium we booked a one-day Meteora visit, including train tickets, bus rides, tour guide, free leisure time, and lots of breathtaking views and... read more opportunities. Tour guide Harry was funny and amusing, bus driver Socrates seemed skilled (and courteous towards us and other road users), and together they managed to get a whole group of tourists wherever they wanted to get them, on time, with even lots of time to spend exploring the monasteries, and extra time for pictures of amazing views of, and on boulder-like formations.
