We took one day Train Athens to Meteora in English trip. Don't bother to pay for first class tickets , they are not available and company send us email that we will be reimbursed for extra payment and we got refunded in couple days .
You can download tickets on phone and barcode will be scaned during boarding.
4 hours train trip was Ok. We didn't expect but restaurant was working and some tourists bought drinks and snacks.
Trip was unforgettable, beautiful pictures !

Nothing to add to how breathtaking Meteora is, the photos do not do it justice and the other reviewers write far better than I.
But I will add another reason to take this tour is that you will visit some monasteries out of the beaten path. If we had just driven ourselves we would probably have stuck to the big ones

She knew so much not just about the monasteries but also the history of the Rocks. She was super nice at we took a lot of stops to take great pictures with less tourist.
