There was... read more never a moment that we felt any sort of way about traveling as a family with young kids, and in fact we’re treated so kindly. Our guide and driver were very sweet and informative and kept us posted every step of the way. I am very glad we went with this tour being that we only had one night in the area. We were able to see everything we sought out to see.

He patiently shared with us the history and details of Meteora and its monasteries. Clearly Chris loves his job and every knows him. Our friends who have been to Meteora complimented us on the pictures that my wife shared on Facebook. Chris is an excellent photographer (very important to my wife) and knows all of the places. I highly recommend Chris and this tour. Book early so you can reserve 1st class train tickets since these seats are limited.

Amzing experience with amazing host. Learned a lot of history and saw all the special places/foto stations. Also visited the best monastaries. Everything was 100% on schedule as planned

Great overview of Meteora - The hotel pickup was very convenient and the tour guide was professional and knowledgeable. The tour guide gave historical info on the drives between the monasteries. Definitely recommend if you want a semi guided tour and easy transport.

Giannis the tour guide was a true professional explaining everything in detail and in the best manner.

In 4 hours you can cover all monasteries in meteora. Save cost on renting a car. The explanation on the history was easy to understand. The tour guide is really friendly!

We did the sunset tour and morning tour. All staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and stopped at some good places for pictures. I did get inured on one of my tours and they did not have a first aid kit, so my only recommendation is they have a fully stocked one since there is the possibility of getting injured (very slim and I am sometimes a klutz, but you are touring older areas with steep inclines and declines, etc, which means it could happen). They did offer to stop by the pharmacy but that would have cut into everyone's tour time. I highly recommend them and would do it again.

The information provided by our Guide (Mrs Ria) was detailed but interesting and amusing. She provided information not only on the Monasteries but on the geological history and the greated Meteora area as well.
A trip worth taking!

Great visit, excellent customer service - Best customer service they gave us. We reached Kalambaka an hour later than the scheduled tour time due to a mistake in our train booking, confusion with Larissa and Athens... read more Larissa main train station.
They sent their mini bus to pick us up from their office at the foothill and continue to join with the tour.
Both the driver and our tour guide was super friendly, driver made few photo shoot stops for us and bit of guided commentary on the monasteries and guide was very knowledgeable of Meteora's history and geological past.
We would highly recommend Metora Thrones if you are making your vacation plans.
